There had been some concern about bump being connected to facebook. Here is an update from Bump Liz.

So I found out more about the Connect with Facebook option. First off, everyone take a deep breath because your concerns were definitely heard last time. The only thing the Connect with Facebook link will do right now is update your current Bump avatar to your Facebook avatar. NO content (posts, blogs, comments in articles, profiles, bios, etc) will be linked.
That's the deal for now and the foreseeable future. If there are any plans to make other changes they will be announced and explained to all ahead of time.
