Just had a baby in July. Is 9 weeks PG w/ #2. Wants another shower because they hardly got anything off their registry w/ #1 and they need help - $$ is tight. Is it o.k. to throw her own shower?

Yikes...I'm shocked people have to even ask that question.
It's shocking to me the entitlement people feel around having a baby. Yes, bringing a new life into this world is a big deal - but it's still YOUR responsibility. It's nice when people help, but no one is required to. Can't afford to buy stuff for a kid? THen don't have a kid......
