tricia560:I used a blank canvas from the craft store, wrapped a layer of batting around to the back, then a layer of fabric, and used a staple gun to staple into the wood stretcher bars, then I arrange the ribbon on the front, and carefully flipped it over and stapled that on the back too.
This is what I did. I also tacked the places where the ribbons crossed with a small x of matching thread.
