Zelda

Do you automatically think of the video game when you hear it? The name is actually German and means "woman warrior". I think it is truly beautiful.

Yes, I think of the video game, but that's not a turn-off for me. I really like Zelda — it's so kicky and '20s chic while still elegant. Thumbs up from me.

Yes, but if I loved the name enough I would still use it.  DH really likes the name, but also has proposed the name a lot lately too.  At first I thought he just liked it because of the game but he thinks it's a really great name.  I did some research on Zelda Fitzgerald though and am not a fan so we won't be using the name.  But I wouldn't side eye someone else who uses it.  Just know that you'll get video game jokes and so will she but I think a person would get it out of their system after one or two times and be able to move on.

I think of my daughters gymnastics teacher. She said she gets alot of jokes involving the game but she likes her name. 

If you like it enough I would still go with it.
