Morning crusty nipples. Ewwww!

I wear my husbands large T-shirts to bed, because they're way more comfortable than my own.

And this morning I noticed about 3-4 crusty spots on the shirt!
So, I know that i'm definitely leaking breastmilk.
I just find it a bit unpleasant. especially when I have to peel dried up milk off my nipples :(
I think it's time I start using nursing pads lol.

Have any of you Momma's experienced this?

I haven't had it personally, but I hear it is normal to leak a bit near the end :)

I started leaking at around 18 weeks with both pregnancies. So glamorous.


TTC # 2 since June 2011
June 2012: Clomid + trigger + TI = BFP!

i did a bit near the end with DS1 - i bought some spaghetti strap sports bras from walmart - 3 for $15 and LIVED in them from near the end of my pg with DS 1 to even now. i wear them to bed. they hold the breast pads in nicely and support enough for comfortable sleep.

Raises hand.

One morning I woke up and my boob was stuck to my arm because of it (I have larger boobs, obvs). And last night, MH and I were talking about what I just read in The Womanly Art of BFing and I was showing him how to tell if you have inverted nipples or not (by squeezing them) and some liquid sctually came out right then. Wowzers. The fun is beginning.

Maybe I am weird but I love it b/c it tells me that my body is functioning correctly and that baby is close to baked.

I have had this problem also, from about 20 weeks on. Try getting a sports bra that is a good fit( Or slightly snug but not uncomfortable) and wear it to bed. if that doesn't work wear the sports bra and add breast pads. This is what worked for me but everyone is different.

I sleep in only my underwear. I can't wear anything on me because I'm so dang hot. I leaked pretty good one night and it woke me up because the spot was cold and wet. My husband had ticked me off right before bed and I realized it ended up right by his head. I busted out laughing the next morning when I figured out I wasn't dreaming.
