Could it be a slight case of cradle cap? They always say it drives us more crazy than the baby. If it isn't bothering him, maybe you could just leave it be. My LO has the same issue. It drives me nuts. We just wash it and brush out some of the flakes. I'm trying to just leave it be because I know it will go away on its own. I think you could still do something natural like olive oil though. Shouldn't hurt anything.
