BH at 15 weeks?

For the past few days I'll get the occasional sensation that my belly is tightening up. I had BH with DD, but that was much later in pregnancy. Do you think that's what it is, or is this baby trying to escape already? lol. I haven't felt any kicks or movement yet, but maybe this is the start of it.

I'm 17 weeks today, but I started feeling them around 15 weeks. I read that they actually start much earlier, but that women don't generally feel them until later. I spoke with my doc this morning and told him about mine. He said it's totally possible to feel them this early.

Mine most often occur when my bladder is "over full," meaning middle of night or first thing in the morning. I can feel a tightening sensation on the inside and my uterus feels tight to the touch from the outside.

As long as there's no pain, I think you're good.

Funny thing is I have been experiancing this as well, and wondered the same thing. I am 16 weeks today. I see my doctor tomorrow but I know if my bladder gets too full, then I go pee it makes it worse. I think things are still just stretching out and some people take longer to get used to the feeling of it, is what I have thought, but I am going to check with the doc tomorrow when I see her.

I've had them since about 13-14 weeks this time. Dr. said it was normal.

Yea it might be that you are familiar with that feeling now since you had them with your DD.

it's normal to have BH even in first tri. as long as they are sporadic, and not regular then it's fine

I have been having them, too, for about the last week or two.  I am 17 weeks.  Also feeling the baby move way more than with my last two pregnancies.  DH actually first felt baby kick at 15 weeks!  So crazy how much faster things happen the third time around.  I guess you just know what to look/feel for by now.

Yeah, I've been feeling pressure and I had a contraction during my ultrasound last week. I had a dr appt this morning and my dr told me its normal to feel contractions and pressure much earlier with 2nd and subsequent pregnancies!
