NTTGPR: What are you getting your SO for the holidays?

I'm getting DH a subscription to Sirrius/XM radio.  He is ridiculously hard to shop for and has absolutely everythign he could ever want...

We are arent doing gifts for each othere. We didnt last year either and it was soo nice! We have a six year old though so watching her tear through her presents as fun! Dh and I went this weekend to the symphony and that and dinner that was our present to each other and it was nice just to have a real grown up date night! :) Your idea is great though...I bed he will love it!

Lol! This is my DH too. Even with a GPS he's gotten lost. I love him all the same.

I'm got H rock climbing lessons and a pass to a rock climbing gym. A nice shirt, mink oil for his favorite hat, and a new chain for his religious medal since its on its last legs.

We bought a house in March and got married in October, so it's been a super expensive year. We decided our present to each other was a baby (or to keep trying for one) Big Smile.

I'm getting him a pair of blue tooth headphones that he can use with his Nexus 7. Along with some Aqua diGio. I'm not that exciting, and he's really hard to shop for.

Yep. He used to get lost all the time with his old one because he thought he knew the way better than the GPS or knew a shorter way. I think he learned his lesson though.

I got him a sweater and a fitbit one.  I'm sure as it gets closer I will pick up a few more things.  We're not going too crazy because we're going back to NY for the holidays and that in and of itself is expensive.

so far, i got him tickets to see zac brown band right after christmas. it'll be our 3rd time to go see them together. other than that, i'm clueless. he's so hard to buy for!

To be honest... I don't know. This year I am gonna buy the presents for everyone else and we will see how much is left. I think our presents for each other are going to end up being a nice time and a few small things. (ie. socks and cologne and perhaps a book) I am kinda freaking out about presents in general cause I have SO many left to buy.

2 pairs of gym shorts (he is super picky--NO pockets), a CD,,I really hope it is the right oe bc I was only half listening (oops), a nice $$ watch he picked out, and cheap calculator watch (he is a huge nerd and actualy wants it:) ....I am also going to re-wrap up a video game he asked for last year that he has yet to even open.  He will only play video games if it a huge blizzard and we are snowed in and that never happened last winter!!

 

I can't waiit for Christmas!!

We're getting ready to move soon, so we decided to forego presents this year. DH did surprise me by taking me to Best Buy and we each picked out something under fifty dollars. I thought that was really sweet and have enjoyed every second of the first season of the Big Bang Theory.

I'm not sure if that's better or worse then mine. He knows how to get to a handful of places and that's it. Even if he's been someplace before several times he can still get turned around. His sense of direction in video games is through the roof. In video games I'm like him in real life.

I suggested an iPad to my in-laws and our parents went together for that so I got him the accessories: case/stand, etc. and some other small gifts. We are saving for a house this year and decided to be careful!

Me: 29, had two blocked tubes - left was cleared during lap&dye, right was unable to be cleared. PCOS & Stage 2 Endo. DH: 31, SA = perfect.
CLOMID: 4 rounds, 50mg + TI = BFN's.
FEMARA: 1 round = no response.
12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
Cycle #15 - no meds, still have cysts, no follicles. Boo!
Forced break. Continuous BCP for 6 weeks to give my jacked up ovaries a break.
Cycle #16 actively trying (May/June): Femara, TI = BFN
Cycle #17 Med break = ?

My DH is especially hard to shop for this year.  He can't think of anything that he wants, but he likes to be "surprised."  

So, I've gotten him some clothes, the new Madden football game, some booze and other miscellaneous items.

I did a boudoir photo session and made him a book of the pictures.  I also had one blown up on canvas and framed for our bedroom (it's not dirty, if you didn't know that one was from a boudoir session you wouldn't know.  Just me smiling on a bed wearing a dress).  I can't wait to see his face on Christmas morning!  Vanity, the gift that keeps on giving!  I also got his truck tinted as a gift but that's not a surprise.

I did this for DH our first Christmas together & he loved it so much he gets it renewed every year! DH listens on his phone, so there was no way for him to stay under the 40 hour limit, plus no ads = awesome!

DH & I don't get gifts for each other any more. For my birthday, we do dinner & a movie. For his, we do wine tasting, For Christmas, we go to an "event" together. Last year, it was a concert. This year, it will be an opera - but it will have to happen later, since I didn't like any of this season's shows :p
