Opinions - Alexander Blake?

We found out that we are having another boy on Thursday. I finally swayed MH to use Alexander as a first name but he wanted to pick the MN. He picked Blake. Just looking for opinions on whether it flows well or not. TIA!

We would use Alex. MH thought Alexander was too long so I just reminded him he would be called Alex most of the time anyway and won him over finally.

I love the combo, it flows nicely.  Alex is a great NN, so much better than Xander.
