It's GO Time!

T - 4 hours, 27 minutes to Trigger! ER is scheduled for first thing Wednesday morning :)

I'm not sure exactly how many follies, I had roughly 12 or 15 on day 3 of stims. I've got but they are measuring anywhere from 10mm to 18mm(but mostly larger) and my RE said everything looked "fantastic" Honestly, it looked like she was having a hard time finding and measuring them all, but it looked like at least 12 that I could see.

My only concern is my e2....it was 4739 this morning Indifferent Isn't that a little high? Good thing DH and I picked up some Gatorade from Costco yesterday, looks like I may need it!

Congrats!  Hope they get a lot of eggs!

In regards to E2, mine got up to 5200 and they didn't let me transfer.  I am had 5000iu of novarel instead of 10000.  I am waiting to discuss FET because our embryos had to all be frozen. 


Married June 2011
Dx: anovulatory due to prolactinoma (1.5cmx 1.5cm in 2006)
April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary
referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)

Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 :(, beta #3 3/4: 268 stop meds. #4: 269, #5 133, #6 72, still in beta hell. Beta 7 (3/25) 29.

Ugh, sorry you have to wait so long to have your ER! I'd be starving by then! My check-in time is 6:30am, they like to get all the surgery stuff out of the way first thing in the am!

1/2011 -- Lap and HSG reveal Stage IV Endo and both tubes blocked.
4/2012 -- Consult with RE for IVF#1 -- All bloodwork and SA are normal -- Repeat HSG - SURPRISE! Both tubes are open.
May, June, August 2012 -- IUI#1-3 -- Letrozole + Bravelle + Ovidrel trigger = BFN
9/2012 -- Lap#2 to remove endo and Hysteroscopy

IVF#1 (Long Lupron) -- 12/6 ER - 20R 11F * 12/11 ET - Transferred 2 excellent blasts *

I was warned if my e2 spiked above 2200 I might have to do freeze all cycle. My e2 didn't spike but my fresh transfer was cancelled because they thought I had 15+ eggs and I had 27! I've been on a gatorade and water diet for a little over a week now because I have moderate OHSS. Good luck to you!

Ugh, sorry you have to wait so long to have your ER! I'd be starving by then! My check-in time is 6:30am, they like to get all the surgery stuff out of the way first thing in the am!

I probably will be starving by then, hopefully I don't get car sick on the way, since it is a 3 hour drive.

I can't imagine having to wait until 11 and not eating beforehand!!  If I remember correctly, I got out of my last one around 11 or so and I was STARVING!!!  Do plan on finding fast food promptly after you leave your appointment.  I couldn't make it 5 minutes and harfed down a whopper in the car!
