Banker&BSN:-No
-You O'd later than you think
-You are not pregnant hence the negative tests
-All the symptoms you are listing are signs of PMS
-Test once a week until you get your period. Call you MD if you get a +hpt or reach CD60.
But don't for the love of god visit the doctor before the 60 day mark. People here get REALLY mad if you do!
We don't get mad. We just think it's silly, because it's a waste of the doctor's time that appt could be used by someone who actually needs it. It's also a waste of your time and money.
I have never had a long cycle and if I went 60 days without a period, I would be freaking out. If it happened in the past, I would be more likely to go by the 60 day rule.
I don't see it as a waste of time if it eases my mind.
It's just a waste of a doctors time and an appointment that could be for someone else who is actually having an issue. But ya know, if it eases your mind, whatev's.
I'm not trying to go "against the board" as some say to other posters, but just merely to state that I never heard the 60 day rule until coming on this board and I'm sure other ladies haven't also and it's not the end of the world if someone goes to the doctor if their period is missing for 2 months.
I hear the whole insurance argument, but that goes both ways, meaning the doctors, clinics, and hospitals play a part also, so in saying that, I'm going to the doctor when I feel the need. Also, with all these preventive commercials and PSA's telling people to get checked out, I don't believe the biggest problem with health care is from people going to the doctor too early and too much.
