Your plans? We're having it outdoors and since one of DS's gifts is a hotwheel toy we are having our nephews bring theirs so all the kids can ride around the backyard. We are doing burgers, hotdogs, chips, fruit, etc. Plus cake and icecream :)

How many people invited? 13 total, including us.

Have it at home or someplace else? Home.

Theme or no? (Silly) Monsters

We are having ours at a pizza place that has a room that you can rent (for DS we had his at a really neat park).  Our condo is too small for anything.  We are planning on inviting our families and a few friends.  It ends up being 22 invites going out and probably up to 40 people actually coming.  I am planning a Winter ONEderland party.  It is mostly going to be snowmen, silver, light pink, and light blue.

I would prefer to have something at my own home so I could decorate the heck out of the place! I love to do the theme and gp crazy :)  But will just do enough so that it is pretty for this place (or as pretty as I can).

I'm doing a Curious George theme. It will be about 30 ppl and will be at my sister's house since she has more room. We are having small sandwiches and salad and fruit. Dessert will be cupcakes and a banana split bar.

Only the grandparents and a great aunt live locally, so it will just be a group of 9 including us and the girls.

The girls' birthdays are 10 days apart, so we're doing a combined family birthday on the weekend inbetween, and on each birthday we'll do presents and cake with just us.

It's summer here, so I'm looking at doing a garden party type thing with flowers and butterflies, club sandwiches and cupcakes. Nothing major, just I'll decorate the cake with flowers and get some fresh flowers and decorate them with butterflies.

I don't think there is a TOO much. I mean there are plenty of things I wouldn't do, but a lot of that is dictated by my budget and how few family we have close by. If someone else wants to hire a hall, and go all out with decorating and catering then all power to them, sounds like a fun party.

Some how ours keeps getting bigger and bigger! I grew up having small family bdays, and somehow we are way off! HAHA! We just moved into a huge house with an awesome neighborhood with lots of kids and so we have to invite all of them (we go to lots of their events and DDay parties), plus all of our old close friends, now DH wants to invite certain people at work that have little kids (good for networking) OMG we are up to 40 adults and 16 kids! YIKES! Should be fun though! We are doing a rockstar themed bday party, we are going to have a dance off (seeing that there are kids of all ages, and DS LOVES music) in basement with motion lights, we are going to have games on the xbox (motion thing) for older kids after dancing (also hiring our sitter to monitor kids while downstairs). Haven't figured out food yet.... it will be about 3 hrs so adult finger foods and kid finger food. Apple juice pouches for kids (doesn't stain), wine/beer for adults(maybe a rockstar "punch"), cupcakes (one larger sized for DS to attack). I also am going to set up a "craft table" for younger kids to do (foam picture frames and you stick diff colored foam stars all over). Phew...sorry so long, I had been needing to hash it out in my head and this allowed me to HAHA! OH! Just got this in mail and it is SO CUTE...also has his name on back (kids also coming dressed as rockstars :) Ordered personalized BDay banner and name sign from Etsy... worked with her to design it for rockstar theme! So we are really excited.

We decided 1st Bday will be BIG, and others just close family friends.... well see how well that happens next yr, haha!

Our plans were to rent out the community room at our apartment complex.. but I'm not sure if we can afford it anymore. Now I'm planning more on just having it in our apartment, which will be quite chaotic, but $100 saved.

About 15 adults and 3 little ones (under the age of 4), will be invited. It's just the grandparents, my sister, and my best friends with husband/boyfriend.

I'm planning on doing a blue cutesy owl theme, and making almost everything myself. I just can't see spending much money at all on stuff that we'll just throw away. I'm all for balloons and streamers from the dollar store.  I've been getting catalogs that have party packs for $80 for 6 people, and I just cringe, because that's a month of diapers & wipes!

DH and I both have HUGE families and a lot of close friends in the area so we are renting out a park district room and catering. I know it's a ton but we'll probably have about 75 people. I plan on doing a Minnie Mouse Theme, having a table with Mickey Mouse Club House print outs to color w/ tons of stickers, crayons and markers. Then A matt set up with toys for the girls. :)

We're inviting 65 people - mostly family and a few close friends. There's no way I could fit all those people in my house so we rented a room at a local park. The theme is cupcakes. Hobby Lobby has some really cute party accessories that are for a first birthday. We haven't decided on food. My first idea was doing chili, white chicken chili, and a brocoli potato soup in crock pots and having rolls, crackers, etc to go with it. I'm thinking that may be more than I want to do though, so I had decided to do BBQ sandwiches and chips (with cupcakes for dessert)... My husband doesn't like BBQ though and he wants to get chicken tender platters which I think are too expensive, so we'll see who wins that argument. We're having the party from 12-2. Next year I'm going to try to cut back, but I feel like people will have their feelings hurt if they don't get invited.

We are doing an animal theme. I already bought these giraffe plates because they are so cute, and cheap. I have plenty of time but I am going to keep it simple - just family and close friends.

We're having it at our house.  Our families aren't that big so we're also inviting close friends so about 25 invites.  And we're having a Where The Wild Things Are theme in the afternoon with cupcakes and coffee and hot chocolate.

For my son, we did a teddy bear theme, and I got the decorations and invitations from etsy.com.  We had it at a pizza place, and we invited friends and some of our son's friends from daycare.

For my daughter, I am putting some ideas together on Pinterest.

Probably about 20 people at our house.

The theme we are doing is the Very Hungry Caterpillar :) }

We're doing Winter Onederland (party is in Jan... thank you Bump for that idea).  I went onto Etsy and searched Winter Onederland and bought some decorations pack.  It's penguins and it's freaking cute.

Other than that, we're having family over to my parents house (20 mins from my house).  My two BFFs are coming in for the weekend.  It will be just a few hours in the middle of the day on Saturday.  My cousin is making a giant cupcakes/smash cake, and I'll make cupcakes.

For food... I don't know.  I'll menu plan with my dad but maybe roast some pork butts, make slaw, mac and cheese... typical southern bbq.

We are doing a family/very close friends party. Which still ends up with a bit over 55 people....our family itself is close to 35 people. We are renting a clubhouse in my SIL's neighborhood. Its really pretty. I am doing a Butterfly Garden theme. We will have creme puffs, chocolate eclairs, ice cream, and cupcakes. Then, for party favors we are giving each person a bag of cotton candy. :-) I am so excited!

If I had a larger home, I would have done it at my house. But it would be impossible to comfortably house that many. Plus, everyone wouldn't be able to see her.
