News on frosties! Also, nausea after ET?

The doctor's office called this morning and they were able to freeze ALL FOUR of the embies that didn't transfer.  So out of my 7 eggs, they fertilized 6, transferred 2, and froze 4!  I made her repeat it when she told me over the phone because I totally didn't believe it.

ALSO, this morning (2dp5dt) I was perfectly fine, and then while driving in to work I got hit with this strong wave of nausea.  I was able to make it to the parking lot before I actually got sick, but I did, went home for the day, and since getting home have one more time.  Logically I know it's too early for morning sickness (though don't think that wasn't my first thought!) but I was wondering if it could be progesterone, or maybe someone sort of withdrawal from the millions of hormones?  I mean, it could just as likely just be coincidental and it's just whatever's going around this time of the year.

Has anyone else had nausea a few days after the transfer?  PIO?  Something else?  Or just funky timing?

Progesterone and trigger shots have both given me pg symptoms and I've been nauseated but I've never thrown up on HCG or PIO/prog supps before. I hope for you that it's just an early sign. FX that you get to puke a lot more!

TTC #1 for about 3.5 years
ME: 37, PCO, immune issues?, teflon uterus (my added diagnosis)
HIM: 38, Perfect. (Showoff.)
Month before starting Clomid, spontaneous pregnancy. m/c at 7 weeks and D&C.
Four months of Clomid, one IUI, with Intralipid each cycle: BFNs all
IVF 1.0 July 2012 -- Lupron, bravelle, menopur, estrogen, progesterone supps, intralipid. 14 ER, 14 fertilized, 1 blast transferred, 2 on ice. BFN
FET 1.1 -- 10/2, transferred our 2 blasts. Lupron, PIO, estrogen, baby aspirin, prednisone. BFN.
IVF 2.0 December 2012 -- Bravelle, Menopur, Ganirelix, Prednisone, Metformin, estrogen, progesterone supps. 22 eggs retrieved on 12/14, 17 mature, 15 fertilized. OHSS anticipated so ET cancelled. 3 embryos frozen.
Broke up with old RE. Moving on to new dude. Maybe the change of scenery will be just the trick for our frosties. On BCPs for possible April FET.

I am a 2IFer, wrapping up my 2WW tomorrow, but I think you'll be happy to hear what I have to say regarding your nausea.

Three days after ET for IVF#1, the same thing happened to me.  We were out to dinner with a huge group of friends for a birthday celebration, and I got sick, twice, then was fine.  Our friends all knew we were doing IVF and said "you're pregnant!"  I told them, and meant it, that it was too early and just a coincidence.

Well, as luck would have it, two days later I got my BFP, and 9 months later, had DD.  I mentioned the situation to my RE and told her I figured it had to be a coincidence.  She said it was very likely the first big surge of HCG after implantation.

So, I say to you, be cautiously optimistic that this is a sign of pregnancy.  Try not to stress out if you don't get a BFP right away.  I got mine at 5dp5dt last time, and this time, it was 6pd5dt (I'm not counting this as definite yet though, because I also had some brown blood with it, waiting on beta first).  The nausea is a good sign that the HCG is in your system, but it will take some time for enough of it to be there to show up on HPT.

Good luck to you, it sounds very promising, if not very pleasant! Big Smile

Thank you guys for the kind words!  And I'm feeling better today, so I'm thinking it might have just been a weird fluke or something.  They tested my progesterone levels this morning, so if it's at all related to that, something may crop up in those results.
