It's not necessarily bad.. just not the timeline that is "normal" I guess.
I've been posting lately about my son's swallowing problems. He can only eat things that are completely pureed, otherwise he gags and vomits.
How does he not like babyfood? Is he able to eat it without choking, but turns his head away? Or is all babyfood difficult physically for him to eat?
What triggered us to talk to the doctor was that daycare sent DS home for puking, even though it wasn't because he had the flu, but because of his texture intolerance. I can't be losing hours at work each time he pukes, it happens a lot.
The good news is for us, he hadn't had weight issues (at 40th percentile), and there's nothing abnormal with his esophogus or stomach. Now the process of therapy can begin for us.
It's worth a trip to the dr to make sure your LO is growing ok, and if any intervention is necessary in your case.
