A timing question

I leave for a trip tomorrow at 11:30 am and I got my positive OPK today. We will obviously HIO tonight after DS goes to bed. Is it worthwhile to try to get up early, like 5:30 am tomorrow to try for one last time before I O? Or is 9ish not enough hours for his sperm to regenerate and not worth it. I can't imagine it will exactly be romantic at that hour trying not to wake our son up. I won't be back until Monday so this is our only shot. I'm just grateful that I got my + today (which means O for me will likely be tomorrow!)

Ask your DH if he is willing to get up early, if not I wouldn't stress tonight should be good enough timing.

If he is see if you can get a quicky in before dinner to try and give his guys a little more time to replenish.

My RE had us have sex the night of our IUI and the next day. Even if it isn't fully stocked up there will still be some guys there.

Me Dx: Weak Ovulation / Total Thyroid Removal
DH Dx: Mild MFI (borderline all 3), Varicocele
TTC#1 since 5.11
Clomid 50mg + TI = Poor Response
Clomid 100mg + TI (x2) = BFNs
Clomid 100mg+IUI#1 (5.6M Post Wash & 1 Follicle) = BFN
Surprise BFP on 1/20/13 EDD: 9/25/13 It's A Girl!!

I'd say, do it if you are both up to it (In the morning), but if not.  You've got it covered with tonight. 
Began TTC #1 in January 2011
Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
+#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
+#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13
7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats. 153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B. A and C are growing on track. A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.
Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

It takes about 2 weeks for sperm to mature. So what he has now was made a couple of weeks ago. It only takes about 20 to 30 min for siminal fluid to replenish. There may be a little less sperm in the seminal fluid if he orgasms multiple times.
If you want to have sex in the morning, he should have some of the good stuff. Good luck!

Both ovaries and left tube looked healthy and clear, so we'll see what the future holds for us.
