PUPO!!

ET was today at 12:30.  Since it was a 5dt, DH and I were certain that the RE's recommendation would be to transfer one blast.  You can imagine our surprise when he told us we would be doing two!  (Don't misunderstand, he gave us the option for eSET, but he recommended two.). DH and I both agreed that we would do whatever they recommended...so two it was!

 

We transferred one "excellent" expanded blast that was hatching at the time of transfer and one "excellent" early blast.  The embryologist said that the expanded blast couldn't be more perfect.  He told us that he thought we might have three frosties.  They will call us tomorrow with the report.

 

My beta is scheduled for the 17th, but I think that is too early.  I am going to double check on that tomorrow.  DH is now waiting on me hand and foot now!

Beta #1 79.7 * Beta #2 240 * It's a GIRL!!

TTC #1 for about 3.5 years
ME: 37, PCO, immune issues?, teflon uterus (my added diagnosis)
HIM: 38, Perfect. (Showoff.)
Month before starting Clomid, spontaneous pregnancy. m/c at 7 weeks and D&C.
Four months of Clomid, one IUI, with Intralipid each cycle: BFNs all
IVF 1.0 July 2012 -- Lupron, bravelle, menopur, estrogen, progesterone supps, intralipid. 14 ER, 14 fertilized, 1 blast transferred, 2 on ice. BFN
FET 1.1 -- 10/2, transferred our 2 blasts. Lupron, PIO, estrogen, baby aspirin, prednisone. BFN.
IVF 2.0 December 2012 -- Bravelle, Menopur, Ganirelix, Prednisone, Metformin, estrogen, progesterone supps. 22 eggs retrieved on 12/14, 17 mature, 15 fertilized. OHSS anticipated so ET cancelled. 3 embryos frozen.
Broke up with old RE. Moving on to new dude. Maybe the change of scenery will be just the trick for our frosties. On BCPs for possible April FET.

Yeah, the 17th does sound early, that is my beta date, but I had ET (5 day) on Saturday.   Either way, good luck with getting lots of frosties and FX on your beta next week!

TTC naturally since Nov 2010. Diagnosed with PCOS in June of 2012 Started seeing a RE June 2012 HSG showed a block left tube Hubby's SA showed a slightly low count everything else ok Three rounds of Clomid/IUI-all three rounds IUI were cancelled because follicles never matured. Starting injections for IVF Dec. 1st. Praying for the Christmas gift of a lifetime!!! 11/30 Baseline U/S and bloodwork-everything looks great! 12/1 Start Stims 12/11 ER 16R 7M 7F 12/16 ET 12/26 Beta #1 364 12/28 Beta #2 758 12/31 Beta #3 2249 12/31 Ultrasound showed...TWINS!!!!!! 2/4 Ultrasound showed one baby with HR of 174 and one angel baby. Ultrasound shows a miracle heartbeat right in the uterus where it belongs! Dr. says I can be cautiously optomistic!!! Hang in there baby!

the 17th does sound early. our beta was supposed to be on the 21st, but we will be out of town, so now it is the 24th.

June 2012 Hysteroscopy to remove uterine polyps and partial septate
July 2012 IUI #1 7/7/12 = BFN
Aug 2012 IUI #2.1 Cancelled due to early/missed ovulation = BFN
September 2012 Forced break due to one huge cyst
October 2012 IUI #2.2 = BFN
November 2012 Begin BCPs for IVF #1
December 2012 IVF #1 = Delayed due to cyst. Start stims 12/22
January 2013 ER: 1/2, 14R, 10M, 9F
ET: 1/7 Transferred 1 "Perfect" blast! 4 frosties!
Beta #1: 99 BFP!/#2: 227/#3: 584/#4: 3,020.
1/30 One amazing heartbeat! 111 bpm

Congrats! Wow - twin potential! I'm right with you as I had my 5dt today too! My beta is the 20th...though I wish it could be the 17th. Or, say, the 12th. :) FX for you!

June 2012: First RE appt.due to age + plan to use DS
Sept 2012: Both fallopian tubes removed due to blockage
Dec 2012: Donor Egg/Donor Sperm IVF Cycle - BFP! EDD 8/29/13
Mar 15 2013: Missed miscarriage at 15w4d(discovered at 16w1d via home Doppler).
Mar 22 2013: D&E. Tests showed death due to (fluke) blood clot in umbilical cord. :( Genetics all good.
May 24 2013: Hysterscopy to remove uterine adhesion post D&E.
We have three frosties. Hoping for FET in late July 2013!
We live in Seattle and used SRM for our Donor Egg IVF cycle.

Great news!  Sounds very promising!

TTC since Jan 2011,
5 IUIs from January to October 2012 = all BFN
IVF #1, ER scheduled for mid-December

Him: 27 ~ perfect swimmers
Laparotomy with partial oophorectomy 8/2009 to remove cysts/endo. Stopped BC 4/2010.
Multiple clomid rounds from 11/2010 to 6/2011. ~ All BFN
IUI w/clomid 7/2011. IUI w/clomid & injectables 11/2011 & 1/2012. ~ All BFN
Occasionally using acupuncture.
IVF #1:EPP 5/2012 ~ (4R, 3M, 2F w/ICSI). Both embies txfrd. ~ BFN
BCP to manage Endo from 10/2012 to 12/2012.
PAIF/SAIF always welcome!

TTC since June 2011
DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN
moving on to DS
DIUI#1 2/18/13,50mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta 3/4/13: BFN.
DIUI#2 3/19/13, 50 mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta #1 (14dpiui) 4/2/13: BFP!!!! 150. Beta #2 4/4/13: 420 Beta #3 4/8/13: 2691. Beta #4 4/15/13: 15,086
1st u/s 4/8/13 shows one gestational sac
2nd u/s 4/15/13 shows yolk sac, fetal pole and early heartbeat
3rd u/s 4/25/13: measuring right on track. Heart rate 148 bpm
