Penelope

My DH loves this name. I really like it and it was high on the list if DS had been a girl. It just really bothers me that Kourtney Kardashian named her daughter this. I know it's silly, but I feel like Penelope is going to become so popular now. What do you think?
dx homozygous for 3 thrombophilias, poor egg quality, and most likely autoimmune problem. Anything I'm missing?

I love it, and I wouldn't let a pseudo-celebrity ruin it for you. I love the full name and all of the cute nicknames that you could use.

I love this name and it was high on my list for this baby...but SO GLAD I didn't pick it.  I won't ever use it now because the trashy Kardashians will make it a very popular name, and I don't like the very popular names, personally.

I LOVE this name, and the NN Penny. I feel you on the Kourtney Kardashian thing, and it is becoming more popular, but if you want to use it, you should!

I am a celebrity gossip reader and I didn't know she named her daughter Penelope. I don't watch that show. I say if you like it you should consider it but be prepared for some people to assume you admire the person.

It is a name I LOVE.  It was in my top 3 for DD2 (we went with Olive).  My DH didn't love it.  If we ever have another girl it will be right up there again.  I hope it doesn't get too trendy because of K. Kardashian.
