Baby Names

Good morning Ladies!  I'm starting to think baby names for the twins.  I'll find out on January 9th what the sexes are (Exciting!!)  My LO's name is Allison, though we call her Allie.  I like the name Brianna (*BriANNa, or BriAWNa).. still not sure which pronunciation I like better.  I also like Riley, but I'm not sure if this is more common for girls or boys.  I was thinking boy, but I see it a lot for girls.

Thoughts or suggestions on twin names?

I like BriANA. BrriAWNa sounds a little snobby. My nephew's name is Riley. I wasn't such a fan at first, but he's adorable so it's grown on me.

Keep an eye on the baby names board for ideas. H and I also watched the credits in movies and tv shows. That's how we came up with DD#1's name.

To me, Brianna = Bree-ANN-uh and Briana = Bree-ahh-nuh. I'm not crazy about either name, but I think Brianna/Briana is okay. Riley is a boys' name originally, but there are definitely a lot of girls who have it, so I'd consider it unisex now. Unisex names are just nms. I do like Allison. :)

LOL!!  Thanks!  It took DH and I three lists before we came up with a name for LO.  I'm sure it'll be just a "fun" this time around.

I hear you. We have gotten nowhere - and you'd think since we were team green the first time around, we'd at least have the girl name we chose then, but now we're wavering on it. :-\

I think Bri Ann A is more common pronunciation. I have a niece named Brianna. I only know of two Rileys and both are girls. I think it could go either way for a boyh or girl.

I am a fan of not matchy or rhyming names for twins. Brianna and Riley are cute.

We are having a hard time naming Baby A. Baby B has had a name since before he was conceived. As for Riley, I suggested it to my husband for a boy and he said "that's a girls name." Don't know if that helps but I like Riley for both.

Bri-AW-na is ridiculous.

I like BriANNa

Riley, IMO, is a little kid's name. I do like it, but it's "young" sounding.. not a 35 y/o male
