I'm a FTM, any suggestions?

Please ignore my signature i tried to change it. My baby will be 2 months Friday and she is eating  so much. Well at least i think shes eating alot. I was told to feed them in ounces whatever half of there weight is. She is almost 10 pounds if not already. So i give her 5 ounces and she sucks that bottle dry wanting more. We always know she wants more because she does this open mouth thing where it looks as if shes searching around for the bottle, and then cries out for some more. We give her the pacifier and she pushes her tounge out like she doesnt want that. She does not cry the entire time she gives up after 1 minute are so, but shes hungry again in 2 hours. Some people (older ladies) are saying give her some rice cereal just a little to coat the bottle, but im a little nervous about that. Can anyone else tell me if they have done this or what have you done that works? Thanks in advance.

Give her more to eat if she's hungry.  My LO was eating 5oz of BM from a bottle by the time he was 6 weeks old and he still eats that much.  Try putting 6oz in the bottle and see if that does the trick.

It's really not recommended to put rice cereal in the bottle unless the doc prescribes it for reflux.  It's just a filler and if your baby is really hungry then she needs the nutrition, not filler.

All of this, especially the bolded.  Sounds like your baby is being pretty clear about wanting more.

Yeah, if the baby is rooting for more, it can't hurt to give more.  Maybe he is just going through a growth spurt?
I wouldn't put any cereal in the bottle, either.  My daughter has to have cereal in her bottles to thicken it because she aspirates.  But I wouldn't do that without a doctors permission.
