*PCOS diagnosed @ 18*
*TTC since 1/22/12 for #1*
*Married since 11/20/10*
*SA results showed No sperm :( 7/12*
*2nd SA confirmed No sperm*
*Hormone levels indicating production issue*
*DNA results normal*
*Surgery scheduled for 3/7/13*
*Surgery & post-analysis show No sperm :(*
*Several samples frozen for future research*
*Meeting with RE on 4/4/13 to discuss donor sperm*

TTC since October 2011.
DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)

Hello!

1. Cycle/month 12/17

2. CD 21

3. Medicated? Not until my cyst hits the road.

4. What are you doing this cycle? Nothing but sex.

5. What's pissing you off?!? I didn't want to start temping again just for 1-2 cycles, but why the eff didn't I at least use OPK's?! Last cycle was the first time I ovulated without meds in the last year... so anything (or nothing) could happen this cycle.

6. QOTW: What crazy family memory do you have of the holiday season? Anticipating anything crazy this year? My parents set Teddy Ruxpin up in my tiny rocking chair on Christmas Eve... we woke up to the dog ripping him to pieces. I was traumatized, haha. We are planning a very small, quiet and uneventful Christmas this year. We shall see. The crazy relatives are ALWAYS the ones who pop in unannounced and uninvited.

ETA added some details.

TTC#2 Since July 2011
Me: 29, had two blocked tubes - left was cleared during lap&dye, right was unable to be cleared. PCOS & Stage 2 Endo. DH: 31, SA = perfect.
CLOMID: 4 rounds, 50mg + TI = BFN's.
FEMARA: 1 round = no response.
12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
Cycle #15 - no meds, still have cysts, no follicles. Boo!
Forced break. Continuous BCP for 6 weeks to give my jacked up ovaries a break.
Cycle #16 actively trying: May/June plan: Femara, Ovidrel Trigger, IUI! Bring iiiiit!

Hey weans! How you doin'?

1. Cycle/month 4 / 10

2. CD 161

3. Medicated? yeah... i caved and took the drugs! provera day 5 today

4. What are you doing this cycle? trying to end it

5. What's pissing you off?!? well, provera always gives me the worst hotflashes, it's like a glimpse into menopause... not looking forward to that! Also, I've had a heachache on and off since saturday night.

6. QOTW: What crazy family memory do you have of the holiday season? Anticipating anything crazy this year?  I think there might be, this is my first Christmas with my in-laws, and they're all full of crazy, sometimes crazy good and sometime crazy bad... I have a feeling there might be some fighting.

3. Medicated? 50mg Clomid(5days) + Trigger + TI. My monitoring was this am.. have 4 mature follies! EEEEEK very happy

4. What are you doing this cycle? Good old fashioned SEX and lots of it!

5. What's pissing you off?!? The fact that my 28yr old SIL was just diagnosed with breast cancer 5 days ago. FU cancer... Has my family not suffered enough from you! UGH

6. QOTW: What crazy family memory do you have of the holiday season? No crazy memories but my Mom always likes to retell the story of how one year when I was little I forgot it was christmas morning. Got up and walked right by the tree and all the gifts.. its def a little funny! HA  Anticipating anything crazy this year? My DH's famly is pretty large so its always a little crazy!

DH's cousins used to come for Christmas and they brought crazy all the time. As did his uncle (different uncle, not the cousins' Dad).  Since they all stopped coming, the holidays have been peaceful.

MrsM - Poor Teddy Ruxpin!  I would be traumatized too if I saw that when I was little.  If you get any crazy pop-ins for Christmas please update us! ;)


JonBon - Hi lady!  I am hoping you get your provera period & you get some relief from the sweats and headaches.. That's never fun.  And I can't wait to hear how your holidays go!

As for me, we got some good news!!  The DNA tests came back normal!  WooHoo!!  We got the call last Friday & we were both ecstatic.  This means we can move onward in a positive direction.

5. What's pissing you off?!? Work. Seriously stressful right now.

6. QOTW: What crazy family memory do you have of the holiday season? Anticipating anything crazy this year? Probably the year my Mom had 2 glasses of wine on Christmas Eve, got slightly hammered (she doesn't drink because she usually has weird reactions to alcohol) and threw a tin of foil wrapped chocolates all over the floor and yelled about how pretty the colors were. Not anticipating anything crazy this year.

4. What are you doing this cycle? temping, charting cm, pnv

5. What's pissing you off?!? Car shopping, it's stressing me out! We made an offer on a vehicle and the dealer wouldn't come down on the price, so we are starting over!

6. QOTW: What crazy family memory do you have of the holiday season? Anticipating anything crazy this year? I can't think of anything really crazy ever happening and I don't really anticipate anything crazy this year either.

 JonBon - we need to f/u w/the urologist and figure out any other things we need to do/clear before we can move ahead with the surgical procedure to check for sperm; if found we will freeze & use for IVF.  Thank you for all your GL!  We were thrilled to know there weren't any genetic mutations, etc.

I bet you were! I'm keeping everything crossed for you lady, hoping everything work out fine,  you find some sperm and that baby weans will be here 2013!
