NTTGPR--Stomach Virus:(

Hi all....

I'm feeling a little better today, but yesterday, I was a mess!  I woke up at 2:30 am, and got sick a couple hours later, and never went back to sleep:(  All day, I was a mess....chills, aches, fever (101...which is rare for me!), you name it!

Woke up today feeling much better, but guess what?  My DH is now sick (and what a baby, ugh!)...We have a DD who is almost 4, and my biggest fear is her catching it:(  Last thing I need is for her to get sick in the middle of the night where I have to clean it up!  It's not fun:(

FX that we have at least one person healthy in this household! (and glad it isn't my FW just yet, either!  That would really s*ck!)

I had it last week and it was miserable. Thankfully DS stayed healthy!

Glad you are feeling better, and DS stayed clear!  I hope DD stays clear b/c of the 3 of us, her being sick would be the worst:(

yuck! i'm sorry you're having to deal with that. it seems like everyone in my town either has some kind of yucky virus or the flu. tis the season! hopefully your crew gets better soon and your DD stays well!

Thanks, much appreciated!  We hope so, too!

But yes, it does seem like so many people are coming down with these types of illnesses, and they're the worst!  I'd take a 5 day cold over this 24 hour stomach bug, ANY day!

Oh wow!  I hate having a stomach virus.  I am terrifed of throwing up!!  Absolutely terrified.  Start disinfecting now!  I hope DH feels better and DD doesn't get it.

Me too!  Throwing up is such a nightmare!  I honestly never was so prone to this until I was PG with my DD, and had morning sickness all day, every day!  Now, it seems like I get this type of illness all the time!  ugh!  I used lysol like there's no tomorrow all over my house!

I keep hearing that this is going around. Uck. Glad you feel better and hope DH is on the mend soon and DD avoids it!

Stomach viruses are the absolute worst!!  I'm actually home with DD right now.  Her school called me to tell me she wasn't feeling well, and the second I showed up she threw up all down my arm and into my shoe. 

We're home now, and I'm praying that it doesn't happen again.  I am praying that
DH doesn't get it, because he will think he is dying!!

Thanks, all!  Yes, my DH is definitely not handling as well as I handled it yesterday (and he has a lesser version of it, too!)...hope your DD is feeling better (and sorry she got sick on you!!!)

DH and I both got this back in March (literally got sick within 2 hrs of each other). DD was about 14 months old at the time, and I was terrified she would get sick. I called my parents and MIL for reinforcements and kept her away from us for a couple days, and thankfully she never got it! It was absolute hell for both DH and I...we really did feel like we were dying. I am the hand sanitizer and hand washing queen now...never again if I can help it!! FX for you that your DD stays clear!

Wow, you guys were so lucky that your little one stayed healthy through that!  And it sounds like you were super ill, too!   UGH!  So far, DD is OK, but I give it through tomorrow to know for sure if she'll make it without catching this from us!
