Is anyone taking vitamins to help with TTC?

As I'm in the begining phase of TTC, 5 months in. I'm wondering if any of you are taking a vitamin/supplement to assist you in your fertility. Also, are you having your significant other take something as well? I'm in my early 30's and my huband in in his mid 30's so I'm wondering if we should be taking something.

Thanks

You should be taking a prenatal vitamin or folic acid and it's a good idea for your DH to take a multi-vitamin as well. I recommend speaking to your doctor if you are considering taking anything else. Some natural remedies can be helpful but others can do more harm than good.

I take a PNV, DHA, Fish Oil, Vitamin D and Cranberry.  I am not taking them to help with TTC though.

I would be wary of taking any of the pills, powders, potions, etc. that are touted as fertility supplements without consulting a competent Dr.

I have been taking a prenatal since we have been trying.  I like the Similac Brand, but I have heard alot of women just use the generic brand and it is perfectly fine.

Thanks everyone... I've been taking a multi-vitamin. I'm going to switch to a prenatal. I found one that I like, the rainbow light petite as it allows me to take it three times a day instead of one (I have stomach issues). My husband takes supplements & protein but that's sports related so I have to get him on a multi-vitamin. Any good suggestions?
