This was my post on the other thread --
Ages of LOs:
2 this week!
Thoughts/Concerns so far:
I'd really like this cycle to be the BFP (don't we all?) because we
might have to TTA for a while if it is not (because of the calendar for
my job), and then the age gap will be >3 which we are not excited
Whats Santa bringing your LOs? Anything you are having a hard time finding?
LO has to get gifts from santa and for his birthday, so
it's a lot. He's going to get some duplo legos and a few vehicles
(trucks, a bus -- that's what he loves!) I want to get him a balance
bike as well. He doesn't have a good ride-on toy. He's still very young,
though, so overall I think we can get away with not getting him that
much stuff. But I do have to say -- he has about 1/10th of the toys of
every kid whose house we've been to since we moved. I think it's because
we suddenly live in a pretty wealthy area and he goes to a fancy
daycare, but still...kids don't need so much stuff! Though we could
stand to splurge a bit more. ;-)
Here are the responses to this post --
milestones -- just talking more and more (but still a long way to go to fluency)
trying for #2
favorite activity -- well his first word last year was "tree" when he saw the christmas tree at his grandparents' house, so we're going to have one for the first time this year. He loves looking at the lights in the neighborhood when we drive back from DC. Our drive is entirely through residential streets, so it is a lot of fun.
