Hello ladies,
Best of luck to Baker - Monday will be here before you know it. Can't wait to hear your news!
Welcome to the new girls!
UPDATE - This has felt like the longest two months ever! Since I got my period at the end of October, my clinic said it was too late to do IVF before next year! They don't do any between Thanksgiving and New Years. (I know I have complained about that before - so I hope I am not sounding like a broken record). Meanwhile - I have been trying to relax, enjoy not being on any sort of medication, and am doing accupunture. My period came a week late this month. I have never had a cycle longer than 28 days, and it is usually 25-26. So even though I knew in my head I wasn't pregnant, I still took 3 tests. Why do I torture myself!!! So it looks like I will start my next round the first week of January, and have the retrieval around Jan. 19th. That still seems so far off! I just want to get going again.
Also, I have a phone consultation set up with an RE Dr. in California. He was recommended to me by a friend. In reading more about him, I saw that he was trained at Cornell. So I am interested in his approach toward poor responders/DOR. I still plan to do another cycle here in NC with my current RE. Especially b/c I already have two eggs on ice. We'll see what I get in this next retrieval and then decide if we have enough to go ahead with fertization and transfer.
QOTW - I play a lot of tennis. I do Jazzercise and also lots of long walks with my dog. Now that it is colder, I probably won't play tennis until the weather is better. I actually tried a spin class this weekend. It was really fun, but really intense. Would love to do it on a regular basis - but woudn't do it while on an IVF cycle.
I have made some changes to my diet. Not huge, but just made a conscious effort to eat more fruits and veggies. Cut out nitrates (deli meat, sausage, hotdogs), eat organic meat, and organic dairy. Also added COq10 and Isotinol. Not sure if it helps or not.
Hope everyone has a great week!
