2 month old sleep woes- advice?

my daughter is a great napper throughout the day- and when she falls asleep in the evening, she sleeps 3-4 hour stretches so, thats pretty good imo. the issue is actually getting her to fall asleep in the evening. she naps regularly throughout the day from about 10am when she wakes up- she'll be awake for about 1.5-2 hours and then napping for about 45min to 1 hr intervals- until about 6, when she wakes up from her last nap. when we start the bedtime routine (dimming/turning off lights, turning down tv, feeding, burping, changing of diaper, lullabies, rocking) around 8pm, she gets fussy and refuses to sleep until about 1am. im not sure what my husband and i are doing wrong but, she just fusses for 5 hours. anyone experience this too? is there any way i can help her fall asleep earlier?

6 is very late to be waking up from a last nap, IMO. I'd work on stretching her out just a little bit, so maybe she goes to bed around 6.

We are in a similar boat - don't feel alone! My daughter fusses/cries for several hours every evening! It hasn't gone as late as 1am (thank goodness), but it is exhausting for us.  Hopefully, it's just a phase & will pass soon.

DS2 is on a somewhat schedule. His "breakfast" feeding is any time between 6-8 and it all depends on how he sleeps at night. On average we start our mornings at 7. DS2 will stay awake and then I put him down for a nap at 8:30. It's on a 1.5/3 hour schedule. I wake him to eat at 10, then he's down again at 11:30. We do this until his 7 pm feeding and then we try our best to keep him awake as long as possible in this 3 hour stretch. If he naps every time for the hour and a half, he will fall asleep around 8:30 or 9 and we will wake him at 10 for his last feeding before we put him down for the night. He will normally sleep til at least 4,sometimes 5 and a couple of times he made it to 6 a.m! We do, however, let him sleep if he really needs it. He hasn't been napping or even sleeping at night well the past few days so today he ate at 4:25 and I normally keep him awake, but he fell asleep no matter how I had him, even sitting straight up lol! I'll probably won't have a problem keeping him awake this next 3 hour stretch. At this point, they're still young and I'm not going to REALLY put my foot down and let him CIO until close to 4 months.

We are in the same boat. The crying starts at 8:30pm and lasts until midnight. I called the doctor out of desperation and she told me it was colic. We are losing our minds.

My LO is 7 weeks and we are having a similar problem. So you are not alone! But I do want to ask when your LO does go down, how long is he/she sleeping? To add to our problem is during the day, he will nap anywhere, but at night, he is only calm when he lays on our chest! We live in a townhome and we feel really bad for the neighbors when he cries late at night. We are not ready to put him in his crib yet because it is in a different room and we are afraid we wont hear him we are both sound sleepers and have not purchased a monitor yet. Looking to see what advise others have.
