hi ladies! happy hump day & 12-12-12!

this slow day at work has me wondering... other than a BFP (that's a given!), what are you most looking forward to in the new year? any fun vacations, milestone birthdays/anniversaries, work changes, or anything else awesome lined up for you or your family in 2013?

DS's first birthday and hopefully being able to go part time at work in August.   We are going to Williamsburg, VA in June... 

Also, it would be great if DH gets a job he likes or we get it together, sell our house and move!

I start a new job (within the same company) on Jan 7th.  My DH is eligible for a promotion Jan 7th.  Mostly I'm looking forward to Jan 7th!

DH is adopting my DD! I am excited for that and what that will mean for us as a family! :) We are also hoping to take her to Disney in the fall so that is fun! :)

Getting our new puppy! I've been wanting a second dog for years. H told me if I wasn't KU by the end of 2012 I could get one!

We have an Airedale Terrier. A girl who is 6 years old. We are getting a boy this time around - he'll be coming home in late January or early February. The mom is due to have the puppies any day now!

my DH is turning 30 in july. i'm sooo excited to throw him a big party :)

i also get to tag along with DH for a trip to vegas for his work. i have never been annnyyywhere fun, so i can't wait!

I'm hoping 2013 is going to be a great year.  We are completing launching a redesign at work so I'm pumped about that. DH turns 30, so I'm secretly planning what to do for him.  I'm thinking of renting a suite when the Cardinals play the Royals here in KC because he is a huge Cards fan.  We will see! :)

April IVF #1 - Lupron, Saizen, Menapur, Gonal-F, baby aspirin and dexamethasone | AFC 8 >> 9R, 4M, 2F w/ ICSI...looking to do PGS testing...Stopped dividing at day 3.
Retested AMH, dropped to undetectable at <.16.
Trying to decide what to do next...

I'm starting a new job in January, and I'm hoping they bump me to the FT position I know just opened. [esp because we're going to be paying for infertility testing].

We're looking to start paying down our debt and save for a house. So, there's a lot going on in 2013 in our family...hopefully a baby will be one of them too before 2014!

DH recently quit his job to focus on getting his own business going, he is a fine woodworker. It was a risk for him to quit and a leap of faith for us but he has been securing some great projects and I am thrilled for him. I look forward to the trend continuing in 2013.

I am anticipating a change in scope of my current job. Right now I travel to the northwest and southwest. I am hoping to cut the southwest out of my territory and add the Boston area.

Finally, I always look forward to my sister visiting the States in August, at which time DH and I will also be celebrating our first anniversary. I am also hoping for a beach vacation!

If this next cycle doesn't result in a BFP, we've decided to take a break from TTC. During that break, we'd like to treat ourselves to a nice vacation. It would be great because we didn't go on a honeymoon after our wedding.

I'm hoping for a BFP tho! ;)

This year we will be celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary! I can't even believe it.

We are planning on a cruise in March

We are planning a trip to Michigan to visit my family. 

I am a bridesmaid in my BFFs wedding in September 

We are going to try to a do a few touristy things around where we live this summer.

Nothing really standing out.

Going to Puerto Rico with DH early this spring. He has to go for work.

DH is going to be getting a sports car, so I'm excited to ride in it.

As of Jan. 2 I will be plant engineer at my own school. That is a cool way to say head of maintenance.
My DS's birthday is Jan.14 and mine is Jan. 25. I will be 29. Last year of my 20s!
DH and I are getting a gym membership. This will be my first. I hope I like it.
Our 5 year wedding anniversary is in June and I get an upgraded ring!

Dh is going to start a new job in January, and taking $1.50 an hour paycut, but he will have health benefits nd a 401k.  His current job offers nothing.  We have private health insurance which is expensive.

my sister is having a baby boy at the end of April.

I'm pretty sure my student loans will be paid off next year (I'm at around $1200).

DD being fully potty trained! There is a dance class I'm dying to put her in but they only take children who are potty trained. 

My step brother will be getting married! DH and I will also have our 5 year wedding anniversary. Wow....we really don't have a very exciting year coming up. Hahaha.

2012 was our big year - DH and I both turned 30, I finished graduate school & started a new phase in my career, and we celebrated our 5 year anniversary.  

In 2013 we are looking to purchase our first home, and hopefully check off a few countries on our travel list.  I have to go to London, Berlin, Barcelona, Rome and Milan for work, and am hoping that DH will be able to join me on the Italy trip.  I'm crossing my fingers that it all leads to a promotion!

I start nursing school fall 2013, we may take trips to Disney World and Fairbanks, Alaska, and DH should be getting a new much much higher paying job!

I am looking forward to DD's 1st birthday and all the fun stages she will go through next year.  I am also really excited to take her to the beach this summer!  DH and I are going somewhere next December.  I really want to do the Candle Lit walk through the Biltmore Estate.

Beautiful!!  I was a vet tech in college and always seeing Airedale's.  All the ones I worked with had lovely personalities! :)
