Mirena users (TMI)

I started using the Mirena for the first time after the birth of my DD.  Prior to that I had used the pill.  I've been loving it, especially not dealing with periods, as I had it put in before mine had returned.  This week I started spotting (I think).  I've never spotted before, but I expected it to be "spotty".  This is more like a light period, similar to the last days of a normal period.  Is this "normal"?  Like I said, I haven't experienced any period or spotting since before my BFP, nor had I used the Mirena until after my pregnancy.

Normal. I'm on my second mirena and my periods have ranged from none at all, to spotty to light.

I got mine in 3 months ago, and I spot off an on.  Considering I've always had heavy periods, I'm loving the change.

Thanks ladies.  I always knew it was common to spot, but wasn't sure about the light period.  Regardless, I'm very happy with the results.  A light period once in a while is much better than the heavy periods I was used to.  Plus, not paying a co-pay for the pill each month has been nice on my pocketbook.
