target newborn diapers

Anyone use them? What did you think of them? We use the target brand for DD now but I used huggies when she was tiny and love them. With 2 in diapers now Id just like to try and save a little money! Thanks ladies!

We don't like them as much as the Pampers...  they don't seem to fit our LO that well and are a little scratchy.

DH bought them and has now decided he wanted to use Pampers!

We liked the NB Target diapers pretty well.  They felt a little bulkier than the NB Pampers Swaddlers but our little dude's thighs got too chunky to comfortably wear NB size Swaddlers sooner than he outgrew the NB Target diapers.  We didn't try NB Huggies so I'm not sure how the fit compares.

Not a fan, DD is BF. And sometime has blowouts, only ever in the Target diapers. The Huggies NB has a "backdoor" catch that prevents blowouts.

It really depends on your baby. We started using Target brand with DS when as soon as he was in a size 1. I didn't not care for the larger sizes of the Pampers and Huggies brands and I saved a lot of money.

Now DD is 7 weeks old and we had only used Pampers Swaddlers until last week when I ran out. I bought a pack of Huggies Snug and Dry. I used 7 and we had 7 blow outs. Also, they feel like tissue paper. We switched to Target brand with her too and love them.

After all that, I guess I'm no help. I don't know how they would be on a newborn. We started with size 1 with both kids. I like the cottony feel of Pampers swaddlers in the newborn size. I bought a large box off of Amazon before DD was born. It ended up being 13 cents a diaper and free shipping, Maybe check that out if you don't want to pay so much.

I bought a small package while out and about one day and wasn't a fan. Like PP said, they felt scratchy. I don't know if you are in an area with Safeway, but their diapers are pretty nice for store brand.

I have been using primarily target brand on my 6 week old. I haven't tried much else because they are half the price of the others if you compare price per diaper. I have been happy with them. Again not much else to compare too. We have had a few blowouts but I doubt there is a blowout proof diaper brand. To be honest to save the $ I don't even mind a blowout every once in a while.

We used all types of NB diapers with the twins- huggies, pampers, seventh generation and the target brand.

My favorites were the huggies and the target brand :) No blow outs/leaks with either one.

I've just switched over to cloth diapers but had been using Target size 1 diapers for DS.  I loved them!  They're cheap, cute and the only time they've leaked is if he's gone too long in one overnight or if he took a massive poop-he only goes once every 7-9 days, so he would blow out of any diaper, more than likely.

Ugh hate them! DH bought them instead of pampers and we used one and I sent him back, to buy the right ones! They're hard and scratchy, no way was LO going to be in those!

I read on a parenting site recently that for disposables, the Target brand is the "best value" they tested with the highest absorbancy. I'd say that's good for the cost of them versus some of the national brand costs.

Though, I would take into consideration comfort of the individual child... if the stretchy bands fit them well, that sort of thing.
