JSM0801:Glad you are on the "love" side of dr. K. We were definitely on the "hate" side!
eh different strokes for different folks. I could definitely see why he falls on both sides of the spectrum with people. I do enjoy being able to walk to monitoring appts on occasion.
***crashing*** I loved Dr. K during our initial meeting. He was so personable and warm! Even during our wtf appt it was the Dr. K I first met....not sure what happened during my ER/ET...a different person. Hope you see that great side of him throughout the entire cycle. GL!
I just cycled with him and loved him. He held my hand as the IV was being put in for anesthesia, cracked jokes with me after I started to come to after the ER and high-5'ed me after the et.
What was it about your experience that you didn't like?
He only did the above during our initial meeting. During my ER/ET he was distant/aloof...barely mummbled 2 words...never spoke to my husband. Everything was explained to us by the nurses. Even during my ER/ET, the u/s tech and nurse anethesit spoke to me more than he did. Now, he did hold my hand for a quick second during the ET..then said good luck. It was rushed
I should also add that nothing about my cycle went as planned (it's science, I don't totally fault him for that). So, I was disappointed and so was he...which may have been why he was so distant...but heck, I was the one going through it...not hhim...lol. He already got his money! Oh, also it was hell getting a follow-up appt with him...he didn't have time...
