help!!!

My fiance and I had sex last night on the most fertile day of the year. And I know I was ovulating. I SWEAR TO GOD I felt the little spermy penetrate my egg this afternoon. I was at my daily yoga session and while getting into downward dog I felt the tiniest little pinch/cramp in my tummy. Anyone else feel it "happen?"

No, you can not feel anything happen. Are you aware that you can get the "morning after" pill? Also, if you do not want to be pregnant, it is wise to use contraceptives.

2. why would I want to get the morning after pill? I never said I didn't want to be prego. I was just asking if anyone else ever felt it happen before.

perhaps you had a muscle ache. Sometimes, when you are trying to get pregnant, you become hyperaware of your body, and the minor aches and pulls that come naturally but are ignored. Currently, I have an ache in near my diaphragm. Usually I would ignore it, but now because of you, I am aware. Oh, wait..it went away.

Minor aches and pains happen all the time.

oh. and I can always feel when I ovulate so why wouldn't I feel conception?"

Yes, mittelschmertz, I think it's called. Ovulation involves actual muscles and internal organs. A sperm and an egg does not have nerve endings. It's about as sensible as saying that you can feel one of your cells divide.

I totally think you can feel conception. You just "know" it happens sometimes. I felt it with my first pregnancy! Congratulations, babymaker!!!

Babymaker doesn't belong here unless her pregnancy is confirmed. No congratulations is warranted, and els, there's a difference between intuition and physically feeling conception.

I think that if one is really connected to their body then they can feel conception. Maybe it's more of a spiritual connection rather than a biological connection we have with our child that helps us feel when we conceive.

StarshineR, are you the mayor of this board? If not then butt out. "I don't belong"--you must be 16 and pregnant. Grow up.

And maybe els is on to something. Maybe I just love my baby more than you do. Or I know myself better than some 16 year old drama queen.

Starshine I don't think it's fair for you to tell babymaker that she doesn't belong here until she has a confirmed pregnancy. We all know she won't get a BFP for a little while, but she's still technically in 1st tri... Let's try to be supportive of our new mama!!

Yoga is a great way to keep your mind and body connected. I think everyone should practice. Then maybe more of us would experience that beautiful moment of conception that babymaker and I have. I wish that for all of you!

How would I know? I'm not very zen. I mean, I thought it was how you felt the conception, being all connected and all. What is the baby telling you? Do you think that wasn't conception but the baby telling you to stop yoga!?!?!! Now I'M worried too!
