GTKY: Thoughts on the world possibly ending next week? Are you a doomsday prepper? Nope, although I did discuss with DH a couple days ago about prepping a 72 hour kit for emergencies. I think I'm going to put one together when I have some time in the new year. That's completely unrelated to the doomsday thing though. I don't believe in that stuff at all.

Cycle/Month:  1/1

CD/DPO:  CD 24/ DPO, unsure...according to CM on CD 9, I could be 15 DPO.  But given its my first cycle of BCP, I am waiting until the magical "28 day cycle mark" to test.

Timing: based on EWCM 9 DPO then I guess +1, 0 and -2

Testing Plans: at least day 28 (the 17th) and we'll go from there

Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc:  May be a stupid question.  I wasn't temping around the time I was ovulating...was travelling and didn't bring my thermometer.  So I can't pinpoint exactly when I ovulated, just the time I was likely fertile. 

I had 1 day of EWCM on CD 9....typically when you see fertile CM are you ovulating at that point in time or is it normally the day after (thereabouts?). 

We had sex the night before EWCM, the morning I saw EWCM and 2 days afterwards also.  Thinking that would cover the fertile window, so to speak.

 Ugh, don't know.  Its like ghosts and aliens.  I don't want to say I don't believe in them in the case they come haunt me or abduct me, but I have never seen it so therefore I don't really believe :)  But too afraid to say it outloud in the event of, haha

Thoughts: Nothing new! Boobs finally started hurting more, so yay?

GTKY: The Mayan calendar revolves around cycles. Five cycles have been completed, and the cycle that will be completed in 2012 will be the final one on the Mayan calendar. According to Mayan history, this does not necessarily mean the end of days but, rather, marks the beginning of a new cycle. So, no.


TTC since October 2011.
DX with Non-IR PCOS in October 2012.
Missing RIGHT tube due to a prior surgery to remove cyst-zilla (40 lbs!) at age 12.
HSG showed tube was blocked - cleared by dye. DON'T DO CLOMID WITHOUT AN HSG!
Cycle #8 with 50mg Clomid & TI = BFN
Cycle #9 with 50mg Clomid & TI = No response.
Cycle #10 with Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel shot = BFN
Cycle #11 is a break cycle. Cycle #12 is a break cycle. (The break so nice, she did it twice!)

It really depends on the person. Some people have fertile CM throughout their cycle, not just around O. Personally, I get a lot of watery CM a few days before O (also fertile CM), then EWCM maybe a day or so before, sometimes on my O date, rarely after I O. GL!

Testing Plans: I did today (bfn) because I thought it was 10 DPO; then FF changed my chart AGAIN (it keeps switching between cd 16 and cd 18 for my O date). Given that it's back to 18 DPO I will wait 2-3 days and then test again.

Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc: I'd love to hear anyone's votes on when I actually ovulated this cycle! 16 is better for timing than 18, but really all that matters is whether or not there is a BFP. The temp shift is obvious for cd 18 but all of the other signs point to an earlier O date. And I'm very confident in the opks as well as the ewcm readings.

It really depends. I have been known to have ewcm after ovulation, as well as more than a week before. (but as you can see from my chart, somehow I didn't have ewcm when I ovulated...). If you aren't pg this time I hope you can temp next time!

I spoke to a couple of genuine Myan people in Mexico a year and a half ago and asked what they thought since these cray crays are  basing it off their calendar. They laughed, and said it's totally untrue... That the calendar just "starts over" again or something along those lines. Zero worries here. Although I was a little worried about Y2K. lol.

Did you have other signs of ovulation like ewcm around that time? 'cause otherwise I would maybe say you haven't ovulated yet and you should HIO!

Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc: I'm very excited to finally be posting in this thread as I spend the majority of my time in the WTO thread (boo to long cycles). I am a bit confused because I had four days of positive OPKs this cycle (three consecutive positive days, followed by a negative day, followed by one more positive day). Even since then, my tests have just barely been negative. This most definitely did not happen last cycle so I'm not sure what's up. Also, I can't help but notice that my post-O temps are just barely above the coverline. I know the coverline is just a visual aid, but could this a bad sign? Could it be a sign of weak ovulation? As usual, I'm probably overthinking it.

GTKY: Thoughts on the world possibly ending next week? Are you a doomsday pepper? Not about this specifically but I do have an emergency kit.  It has extra clothes (the old nasty stuff), 10 gallons of drinking water, a few gallons on non drinking water (for flushing toilets), canned veggies for a few days, basic first aid and a flashlight.  The only thing I need to get is a solar powered or crank radio.  I haven't been ale to fine them in the stores.  My mom suggested maybe stores will have them as Christmas gifts.

Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc: My temp was way down this morning and it pissed me off. I hoping it was off because it had been around 75 degrees this week then it dropped to about 45, but our windows were all open because it had been so hot, so it was freezing in the house when I woke up. Its so frustrating.

Timing: O-5, O-1, so not great

Testing Plans: See if I get any spotting (had it with DS) a weke before AF and then test if AF does not show up

Since the Mayans did not account for leap year, doomsday passed already. Plus they found other baktuns and explained it did not mean the end of the world. So, no. I just hope some idiot doesn't do something stupid.

Testing Plans: I have no testing plans as of now. Just going to see how things go.
