Acne...really?!

So, I'm almost 7 weeks and the acne is killing me!  I've struggled with adult acne for as long as I can remember, although I've been able to keep it under control until week 5 rolled around.  Now, no matter what I do (or don't do) it just gets worse.  Is this one of those first trimester things or an entire pregnancy thing?  I was feeling better about it until the first thing the doctor said to me this morning for my ultrasound was "looks like symptoms are starting" while motioning to my face....really?!  Ugh, I feel like I'm 15 again.

I am there with you, except I never had a problem with acne and now I can't get ird of it!!! I have been pregnant before and never had this problem...

I'm right there with you! Every time I think I'm getting it under control, another one pops up. And it's on my jawline, and I never get them there! So gross!

This is my third baby and for my first 2 pregnancies, it was horrible for the first trimester and then my skin was flawless the rest of the time. I'm hoping it's the same this time!!

I have had a bit too since about week 6. Its really annoying, but now I am starting to get the glow to my face thats not from being oily!
My hubby and I have been together almost 5 years and married DH is normal (high count and high motility) . I have PCOS and annovulatory hypothalamus. Clomid #1 BFN Clomid #2 in Oct 2012 w/ovidrel trigger and IUI #1 on 11/1/12. 11/17/12 BFP! M/C at 9 wks 12/20/12 Switched to Letrozole 2/23/12 trigger and IUI #2!BFN Letrozole #2 march 2013, CD10 no response, given 2nd dose of Letrozole. Positive OPK & IUI #3 3/28/13 BFN Follistim Apr '13.05/16/13 BFP! EDD 1/24/14 BabyFruit Ticker Lilypie Angel and Memorial tickers

If you believe in those Old Wives tales supposedly if this happens it's supposed to be a girl because she's "stealing your beauty" or something like that.  In reality boy or girl our hormones do love to have fun with us, don't they!  I don't have acne but broke out like crazy on my chin and note.  I feel like I could play connect-the-dots with my pimples and discover a secret hidden message on my face.

I'm right along with you on that one.  My body and face are so oily and gross that I feel like a took a bacon-grease bath!  Yuck!

I'm right there with ya! It sucks and I feel so gross! I have never had acne like this, even in high school! But I guess its another lovely symptom. Just stay on top of your normal face washing routine to try and keep it as minimal as possible.

I've always had acne- but its def been controlled since jr high.  Now, my back has pimples all over it and some on my face.  Also have noticed my face has like a red tint to it all the time and very dry.  I use cetaphil and have for years- its helping my back a bit but shoot- I def feel like a teenager again!

Acne was bad with my last LO. Topical erythromycin worked a bit, but mostly my skin was just disgusting.

I've got that too. I guess the BC really helped and now with the hormones my face looks terrible, back too. I've never had acne on my back. Hopefully this doesn't last the whole 9 months!
