Due today.. but now Saturday?

I went in today for my 40th week checkup.
I'm only 1cm dilated and about 80% effaced.
the week before this checkup, they told me I was due today, Dec 13th.
And today, they told me i'm due Saturday, the 15th?

They said if she's not born this weekend, they would send me in to get a NST Monday.

So why did they change the date? They've been telling me the 13th of December from the very beginning, but now they change it to the 15th?
Kinda odd.. has this happened to any of you before?

I don't know but it doesn't really matter at this point.

Huh, that's odd.  Maybe they just read your chart wrong or something :shrug:

Is there a reason they're wanting to start NSTs so early?

I have my regular OB telling me the 29th...and my high risk doctors telling me the 25th. I know the the biggest part of the EDD is the fact that it is ESTIMATED :) so my goal was to make it to December...which I have, so I consider myself blessed. I'm also very impatient now that it is December and I want him here!! Lol, I really don't want to be pregnant in January!!!

My high risk OB office had my due date one week earlier than my regular OB office..I tried and tried to correct it, but neither would change it (I don't know where the high risk came up with their date as it was the regular OB that did the dating ultrasound at the beginning of the pregnancy)....it doesn't really matter at this point though, LOs will come when they're ready, or when they're forced..
