Walleye?

Does anyone know if walleye is safe to eat!?  On one website it says walleye is comparable to salmon and can be eaten in moderation, another said due to water contaminates do not eat fish larger than 20 in and anything smaller only eat once a month and another article said to avoid it...Any Ideas!?

I would eat it unless it was caught in Lake Erie!  Seriously though, most things are OK in moderation.  Sushi is fine, it's actually really good to eat fish while pregnant as long as you monitor what KIND you eat.  Large fish are high in mercury content so stay away from shark, tile fish, swordfish and watch how much tuna you eat.

Same thing with eating Brie, in the US most of the soft cheeses you can buy at the store have been pasteurized, it's law.  There are so many foods that have gotten a bad rap for pregnant women not because they are truly harmful, but because old wives tales turn into truths over time.

Enjoy your fish!
