Our son Dominic Shannon was born December 11 via emergency c section after I was life flighted to the University of Utah due to developing pre-eclampsia. He is 10 weeks early and weighs 2 lbs and 2 oz. He is a little fighter and is holding up in the NICU please send you thoughts and prayers. Thank you everyone for all the support and great advice I have received during my time here.
Update: Thank you everyone your prayers mean a lot to me. So far little Dominic is getting stronger, he is almost breathing on his own and he is starting to eat a little bit today and has gained 4 oz. The nurses say that if he keeps improving at this rate I should be able to hold him for the first time on Christmas Day which would be the greatest present i could ask for. He is undergoing phototherapy and could possibly be off of that in a few days. His oxygen levels are good and his blood pressure is strong. He is truly a fighter and I know he will pull through this.
I will be thinking of you and your little and praying for a speedy recovery in the weeks ahead!
