New - but have been lurking here!

Hi All :)

  I'm semi-new here, meaning I've been reading this board for almost two years now, but never made an account. DH and I have been TTC for about two years. It's been a tough continuous struggle, as you can relate. Many tears and nights without sleep.  Long story short IVF is the only way for us...I started Lupron this past monday for IVF#1 and it's making me feel exhausted...I'm also freaking myself out because I read far too much literature... Praying all goes well.

Sorry you have to be here, but welcome to the group.  I'm glad you finally started an account so we could all get to know you :)  As you've probably learned from lurking this is a friendly and supportive group so please feel free to ask us about whatever you're freaking out about... I'm sure there's at least 1 person who has had the same freak out!  Good luck with your IVF cycle!!

 PS - I've attempted to change my profile picture, but on my end it's still showing some woman with a baby bump, and thats not the one I want as not to confuse!

Laparotomy with partial oophorectomy 8/2009 to remove cysts/endo. Stopped BCP 4/2010.
Multiple clomid rounds from 11/2010 to 6/2011. ~ All BFN
IUI w/clomid 7/2011. IUI w/clomid & injectables 11/2011 & 1/2012. ~ All BFN
IVF #1:EPP 5/2012 ~ (4R, 3M, 2F w/ICSI). Both embryos txfrd. ~ BFN
BCP to manage endo from 10/2012 to 12/2012.
5/2013 Waiting for Donor Embryos

PAIF/SAIF always welcome!

Welcome! The boards are great for questions, advice, or if you just need to vent. Everyone is really welcoming and kind. I have been on the boards since August but have been at this particular board (infertility) for maybe about a month. It's comforting to know that I'm not in this alone. Try not to read too much! It's definitely great to educate yourself for sure but you don't want to be stressed out or anxious all of the time either. I speak from experience...I was the same EXACT way. lol. Good luck with everything!
Married for 3 years to the love of my life! TTC for over a year. Started seeing RE in April 2012. Lap in July revealed endo covering left ovary and part of my bowels. This will require extensive surgery by a specialist. RE wants us to have babies first because surgery could compromise my ability to carry. Started first round of IVF in August. Ten follies retrieved, eight fertilized, two frosties. IVF #1= C/P *Frozen Embie Transfer scheduled for end of Nov/Dec. Going to transfer 2 frosties if all goes according to plan*
FET # 1 [12/18]: Transferred two "beautiful" embies.
Beta # 1: 126 [BFP!]
Beta # 2: 546
Beta #3: 1618!!
Beta # 4 - 4954!!!!!! Ultrasound 1/18 - Two heartbeats at 121 and 136. Fraternal twins! Um, is this really happening?!

Me(31): Some sort of endocrine malfunction that even the major Chicago hospitals can't diagnose. Yay me!!
I also have Factor V Leiden...yay me again!
DH (31): Borderline low morph, but not considered a problem

Endocrinology related tests from October 2011-February 2012
March 2012--Clomid --No response-Straight to injects!
April & May 2012-- IUI#1 & #2 = BFN
July 2012- IVF#1 cancelled
September 2012-IVF#1.2--BFN
November 2012- IVF #2 --BFN
January 2013- IVF #3-- BFFN
February 2013--June 2013 Back to the Endocrinologist for more diagnostic testing
IVF #4 --June 2013
PAIF/SAIF encouraged...give me some hope!!
