Leaking fluid?

I am a little freaked out. For the last couple of days I have had what I THOUGHT was a watery discharge. Its clear and leaves a stain on my panties just as water would, not white or creamy like regular discharge.
It hasnt been a crazy amount, like running down my leg or anything, but it has been enough for me to feel it on my underwear and go to the bathroom to check it out. I wouldnt say its all day long, either.
I didnt think anything of it til my mother said well, that doesnt sound too good, so now im a bit freaked!
I figured if I was leaking amniotic fluid by now wouldnt I have gone into labor? I have no bleeding, cramping, pain at all. Havent even felt a braxton hicks contraction yet!

I'm sorry I don't have any helpful advice but I really hope not cause I've had that for a while too!

I would call your provider. It's probably nothing, but it's also impossible to know without testing the fluid.

This exactly. Go get it tested. Nobody on here can tell you if it is amniotic fluid or not.

When I was leaking AF with my daughter I would feel random small gushes throughout the day. I've had watery discharge before but this was very noticeably different and as the day went on I felt it more.

It can't hurt to get checked.... I really thought mine was normal discharge at first but as the day progressed my gut told me to get checked and sure enough it was AF. Just because your leaking doesn't mean you will go into labor on your own, they worry about risk of infection once your water has broken so you need to get checked because if you are leaking they will start labor

Its probably just excess discharge.  Your body will produce more to clean itself before you go into labor.  Use a pantyliner, and if you fill it in an hour, call your doctor.

Not true about filling a pad.... I never filled a pad or even close to it and it wa AF. Always better to get checked and told it is nothing
