At what point do you stop waking your LO during the night to eat? My DD is going on 8 weeks and if I didn't wake her she would have gone 8 hours since her last feeding. Fortunately, she went back to sleep quickly.

You don't need to wake them if they are ok weight wise. Gah I am so jealous I have slept 2 hours tonight :/

Ditto. My eyes are red and watery I'm so sleep deprived. Let that baby sleep! Then make sure she eats enough through the day, which I'm sure she is.

Our ped said we didn't need to wake him but still needed to aim for at least 8 feedings in 24 hours.

I have never woke them up to eat. DS was back to his birth weight by 4 days old and DD was just over a week. I would kill for 8 hours, but the longest she's went so far is 5. I think DS was around 12 weeks when he first went 8 hours, which is still good... so I would say you're pretty lucky. I've always lived by that "never wake a sleeping baby" mentality and DS has always been a great sleeper at night.

This happened for the first time last night. Usually we get about three hours.
