DH SA (1/21/13) is perfect! 1st RE appt set for 1/30/13

thoughts/rants/raves/questions:  I am looking forward to this cycle.  Its the 11th month and I feel down about the time that has passed but I also feel renewed and hopeful about the new year.

gtky:  If you could buy your DH/SO anything for Christmas/holidays what would it be? I would buy him the land he has been wanting to purchase in WV.  The land would be for hunting and maybe one day building a dream home on.

cycle/month:  2/still in the first month, 2nd month will be Dec 20 technically

what are you doing this month?? Old/new?  Going to temp regularly and purchase OPKs and see how they work :)

thoughts/rants/raves/questions:  relieved AF came last night to start trying month #2.  Last cycle was my first one off the pill, so I guess this is my first real cycle trying!  First cycle was 24 days...can't help but worry a little if this is a long enough cycle as a friend of mine said "gee that seems short, maybe you have a luteal phase defect".  Thanks, lol. 

gtky:  If you could buy your H/SO anything for Christmas/holidays what would it be? all money in the world?  The house that we both envision with his sunken living room and a garage decked out with brand new man stuff!

thoughts/rants/raves/questions:My week old thermometer this morning said its battery was low and wouldn't temp. But then later it said it was fine. So who knows if its a legit temp. Only time will tell. :-)

My sister in law has 24 to 26 day cycles, and she gets preg very easily and quickly. I think its because she ovulates so soon and has less time for error if that makes sense.

Ya were looking at a bigger car and now everyone think were pregnant. I'm like nope, just want to be able to fit a stroller and shopping bags in my car. Ugh.

thoughts/rants/raves/questions: I got a super close to positive OPK this morning, so I'm sure it'll be positive later on today. Hopefully that means I'm ovulating tomorrow because we'll probably have pretty good timing that way.

What are you doing? The usual, first month temping I think I'm addicted! And I started metformin this week.

Thoughts, etc. I think I O'd Thursday, so hopefully crosshairs tomorrow and then I will head over to 2WW.

Gtky: There are three levels to this question. 1. Dream world, never going to happen, a 1960's camero. 2. Maybe someday, a Saturn Sky. 3. Maybe next year. A pair of Oakly suglasses he wants. They are 180, and I just can't fathom spending that much on sunglasses!

what are you doing this month?? Old/new? OPKs and sex EOD although we missed last night. I fell asleep really early on the couch. I'm sure its not big deal as my cycles are 33 to 40 days. Just can't let that happen again.

thoughts/rants/raves/questions: its starting to get to me. I wonder if I should take a TTC break but don't want to lose time so I doubt I will.

what are you doing this month?? Old/new?  nothing new, except for convincing DH to start taking a multivitamin.  I'm tracking CM, drinking green tea until O, POM during 2WW, sex EOD / ED during FW, lots of water, prenatals

thoughts/rants/raves/questions:  as always, hoping this cycle is the one.  We've hit CD 5, 7 and 9 so far and will probably start with ED sex tomorrow or Monday.

gtky:  If you could buy your DH/SO anything for Christmas/holidays what would it be?  I'd completely pay off our house.

what are you doing this month?? Old/new?  This usual - temp, OPKs, sex, etc. I tried progesterone this past cycle and will likely try it again this cycle, although it did not lengthen my luteal phase at all. 

thoughts/rants/raves/questions:  thinking its time to see an RE, unfortunately. I really think I have a luteal phase defect. I feel sad, but also hopeful that 2013 will be a wonderful year:)

gtky:  If you could buy your DH/SO anything for Christmas/holidays what would it be?  I would love to buy him a car - but why not dream bigger?  If I could get him anything at all, I would go for 1 year of unlimited traveling. We both love to travel and it would be a dream come true to be able to a year off and have the resources to jut go, go, go.

What are you doing this month?  Sex...maybe ordering some preseed

Thoughts/Questions: Yesterday I posted about what's going on with my cycle...spotted for 5 days...today nothing so far.  So, I don't know if this even counts as a period or what.  I guess I don't know if I should post on here or in the 2WW.  I might just not post anywhere until something happens I guess - whether a positive pregnancy test or more of a period.  So confusing!

GTKY: Oh gosh, probably a fancy mountain bike with everything that he needs to go with it for riding.

thoughts/rants/raves/questions: I'm so annoyed at myself that I didn't start temping earlier.  I don't know if I have Od yet.  I only have 3 temps in so I probably won't know this cycle.  My last cycle was only 21 days but it was the first one off BCP so I just chalked it up to that.  I have been crampy the last two days like I'm going to get my period again soon, but I'm really hoping that my cycle is not only 21 days long again?  I know, it can take a while for your body to get it together after BCP, but that doesn't mean I have to like it!

gtky:  If you could buy your DH/SO anything for Christmas/holidays what would it be? An all expense paid trip to Alaska (for both of us).  He would love it.

thoughts/rants/raves/questions:  relieved AF came last night to start trying month #2.  Last cycle was my first one off the pill, so I guess this is my first real cycle trying!  First cycle was 24 days...can't help but worry a little if this is a long enough cycle as a friend of mine said "gee that seems short, maybe you have a luteal phase defect".  Thanks, lol. 

Mine was 21!  I was thinking the same thing about me, but I'm selfishly glad it happened to someone else too!   Wink  I hope we both get it together this cycle.

what are you doing this month?? Sex and temping with opk.

thoughts/rants/raves/questions: arghhhhh!! So cd 18 and today I finally get a positive opk as I am rushing around trying to pack to go see my dad in the hospital. Thoughts and prayers please. His wife called and said he has just given up so I am driving 3 hours so I can have a talk with him and try to get him to at least want to get better. I feel totally guilty as before I hit the road, I'm stopping by for a quickie with DH because if not our timing is so bad with o'ing 5 days later than normal we might as well skip this month. I think I will talk to dad about TTC to maybe give him something to try to get better for. This all just sucks.
TTC since July 2012 Me(42): normal HSG low progesterone 2.5 and TSH 13.9 DH(41): normal SA *10 cycles no meds, July-March. 2013: BFN - Cycle 11 - Chlomid and IUI April 6, 2013 FX

What are you doing this month?  Taking a temping break starting tomorrow.  Christmas, my birthday, and the New Year fall over this month.  With the different hours, drinking, and everything else, I think it's the perfect time to take a break from temping.

Thoughs/rants/raves/questions: Feeling good for now.  Excited FW should fall over my birthday.  Birthday sex sounds good to me.

GTKY: If you could buy your DH/SO anything for Christmas/holiday, what would it be? A Jeep Wrangler.  He had one growing up and loved it.  He's always wanted another.

Me(31) + DH(31) TTC #1 since Dec 2011
CD3 b/w normal, HSG all clear, SA - slightly low morphology, otherwise wnl
RE consult Dec 2012, diagnosed with lean PCOS (didn't see that coming!)
medicated cycles 1 - 4 (Femara 5mg then 7.5mg), = BFN
4/2013 - started metformin, Femara 7.5mg + IUI + progesterone = BFP on 5/7/13!!! EDD 1/16/14
Beta#1 (at 13 DPIUI) 37, Beta #2 (at 15 DPIUI) 103, Ultrasound scheduled for 5/28/13

Sorry to lurk, but I just wanted to say good luck. We are also on our 11th cycle and decided to nothing this month. Fingers crossed for you. 

Me: 30, DH: 34. TTC since 2/2012 DH's SA 12/17/12 - Normal FSH, Estrogen, Progestrone,Prolactin, TSH,glucose, lipids Normal 1st TTC OBGYN appt 1/4/13 - not helpful 1st RE appt 2/15/13- Antral Follicle count 90th % for age. Ruled out sperm issue and ovulation/egg issue. Investigating anatomical causes of infertility. HSG 2/19/13 = tubes clear possible polyp, Saline sonogram 3/14/13 polyp confirmed. Started birth control to wait for hysteroscopy. Polyp removed 3/29/13. RE thinks polyp was the "culprit." Plan continue trying on our own for 2-3 cycles. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3bf60b
