Changing Pads and Covers Compatability

I have registered for the very affordable BRU brand changing pad. Would PBK or Land of Nod covers fit this changing pad? Are all changing pads pretty much equal in size?

And does it even make sense to buy the pricey covers for their "prettiness" when it is very likely that they will get soiled over and over again?

I assume the sizes are standard. IMO, no, it doesn't make sense to spend a lot on them. The first time you witness projectile poop, you'll see why!

We got our pad at Target and a cover from Wal-Mart. I think most pads are a standard size and same with the covers.

We got the cheapest pad BRU had and two covers from Wal-Mart ($11/each) because I just couldn't fathom spending >$20 on something that would be covered with poo soon. I was a little nervous they cheap covers wouldn't fit, but they're perfect, and as a bonus plus, they fit the Co-Sleeper Mini perfectly too, so I'm getting another for a backup sheet for that.

They should be compatible.  That being said, we purchased 2 covers.  They lasted less then 12 hours.  I have yet to put one back on the pad. It's much easier to just take a chlorox wipe to the pad once a day then constantly washing the covers.  Meh maybe I'm just lazy but it works here.

We have the BRU pad, and 3 covers.  I got two at BRU (I think they were Carter's brand - around 17 dollars) and one from Target - they all fit fine.  Maybe I've just been lucky, but we don't have to change ours that often, and my guy is 10 months old.  If he's sick or something, yeah it happens, but it's not like you are changing it every day because it gets poop or pee on it!
