video or online alternative to birthing classes?

Anyone have a recommendation for a DVD or a online learning option for birthing classes?  We were going to do the online class through our hospital this weekend but I wasn't able to get through to register this week and now I am wondering what else might be out there.  Love to hear some recommendations!

Everybody has really good things to say about it and it is way cheaper than the three separate classes that I would have to sign up for at the hospital. My husband was also not too excited about the length of time that we would have to sit in a classroom. (He just finished his Masters this year and is not interested in anything like school LOL) I like that we will be able to watch these at our own pace and rewatch any of it at any time if we forget something.

Honestly - I learned a lot more watching a Baby Story than in my birthing class with LO#1. I've had a ton of experience with kids and babies, so I was confident in different holding positions, feeding, etc. The actual L&D part, breathing strategies I adopted from TLC, haha, and learning different birthing positions, medications, complications, etc. is all pretty much covered on the show too.

I watched the Laugh and Learn series like the PP mentioned. They were easy to watch and gave me plenty of info. I also watched the Bus. of being Born and it was ok. I didn't need to see Ricky Lake naked, but oh well. The nurses helped with any questions that came up during labor times that I didn't already know from the videos.

That first part scares me for you. You do realize that the docs and nurses don't know your body like you do and in the end, you are responsible for your own life and your baby's? Education doesn't mean that you're going against medical knowledge, it means you're educating yourself so you can make informed decisions, because you get choices in the hospital.
