britax b agile travel system

This is the system we've been looking at online and I have a question regarding the infant seat base. On Amazon there is the base kit and theres also an option for an extra base. Does anyone know what the base kit involves and why we can't just buy the plain old extra base? I didn't realize it was so involved. Tia!

We just bought an extra base for our second car. The seat itself comes with one base. And the stroller comes with the adapters for the carseat to connect so I can't imagine that you'd need any kind of base "kit"


ETA-  This is an awesome travel system! We LOVE it! We'd buy it again even if we had $$$$ to spend on a system. Its perfect for us. And the fold on the stroller couldn't be easier. I fold and unfold it one handed all the time. I get compliments in parking lots quite frequently about how easy it looks. haha

Thank you so much for answering that. I was also wondering if the carseat came with a base already. So thats great to know. I suppose it wouldnt hurt to buy an extra one too!

We have the b agile stroller and b safe infant seat and love them both.

we did buy an extra base to use in DH's car. It is convenient to just snap the seat in.

DS is almost 10.5 months old and we are still using the infant seat in DH's car.

Although we are likely going to switch over to the britax blvd today. We love that seat too! (We have one in my car... Put it in when DS started daycare so we would each have a seat in our cars and not have to leave a seat at his school... DH and I share drop off and pick up),

I have the stroller and the b safe car seat. 

When I was registering  for this the travel system was sold out online & wasn't in stores. So mine were purchased separately. Now it's in stores!

I love it.

I just have a base in my car as the manual says you can install the car seat without the base. DH works late, so i'll have baby most of the day so we figured we'd save 80 dollars and just keep the base in my car.  

as PP said, the stroller comes with the adapters for the infant seat [which at first i didn't know until i saw the travel system in the store last month. I thought I had to buy an adapter myself.]

So excited to use these two items!

This is the system we have as well it is one of my favorite baby items by far. If you decide to get the second base I would keep it boxed until you know you will need it. We have only needed to use an alternate car once in 3 months, and the seat belt install was quick, easy and secure. I'm glad I didn't waist money on a base that would never get used.

DH has already said that if we ever get a double stroller he wants the b agile double.

We have this system and mostly love it! In 8 months we have had no need for a 2nd base, but I am also a SAHM. The one complaint I now have that she is outgrowing infant seat is that I really wish the handle moved so the main seat could face the parent. My daughter gets overwhelmed and it makes it difficult to shade her sometimes. The other model does allow for this.

Wow I've been looking for reasons to get the b agile travel system and I guess I found them! 

Just check out, the travel system is available for $320 here.. As per camelcamelcamel, one of the lowest prices ever!

Yup! The travel system is 319 on amazon, as opposed to 399 at target.

We love the stroller organizer! DO NOT BUY THE CUP HOLDER! The upholder was crap and you can't fold the stroller with it attached. ugh. I sent it back the day after it came, and we bought the organizer. Its great. =)

After reading all these reviews Im super excited to get this system. My DH just brought up the fact that we should just accept the stroller his SIL offered to give us thats 4 years old. He doesnt really get it I guess.
