<sniff sniff> My Bebe is one!!

Oh man!! He's suppose to be a Baby forever!!! But no, he's the big ONE ... So far had his first Honey Toast this AM and had a big ear to ear grin/smile (my family are honey farmers so it's sort of a "big" thing..).. His cake is cooling right now so we'll do that tonight at some point since DH & DD are at the ski hill...

Ds turned 1 yesterday and it was such a happy and sad day. We had a planned c section because of his position so the whole day i just kept saying at this time i was laying ina room waiting for the dr to come in... at this time i held.you for the first time... so on and so on. We had a great birthday and he loved his cake. I feel your pain on lo getting big. Enjoy and be grateful lo is getting big. Relish the.moments!!

Today is my son's birthday too. We had a fun party, though he was not impressed with his cupcake - probably wished it was chocolate, lol! (Vanilla went with the Winter Onederland theme, but what can I say, the boy has my tastes.) :)

LOL - it has to be something with the date...  When DS saw me decorating a white cake he went into full on meltdown mode (I had finished up a Chocolate cake for a friend)..  He didn't even want to taste his little "smash" cake and was pretty much just pushing it away..  Guess I know for next year - make Chocolate!
