Grinding teeth!

ugh. I hate it. Do your babies do this too? Any tips to get her to stop? She has had 2 teeth on the bottom only since like 11 mos. And now her 2 top teeth are coming in. and she grinds them together sometimes. I hate the sound and it doesnt seem good, but she laughs about it!

For us, it was just a phase with both girls.  It started when the tops were coming in a lasted a couple weeks. I would just distract them when they were doing it to get them to stop.

My DD does this at night and she's 5 1/2. I asked the dentist and she said there was nothing that could be done at this age. It is mostly a phase (stress inducing usually), and it comes and goes. DS does it only during teething.

I have no experience with any form of teething, but maybe when LO does this, you could give a teether or a toddler-safe-popsicle of some sort?

DS did this for about a month when he got both top and bottom teeth.  It was annoying, but there wasn't much we could do about it and eventually he stopped on his own.
