I have a lot of irrational fears, some are more ridiculous that other....
I think the most irrational of the bunch is that I am absolutely terrified of Whales (sperm whale especially). When I was about 13, I was watching animal planet or discovery or something about Giant Squids and they had this CGI part with a sperm whale under water, and ever since then I am scared to death of them. I think its because I am also afraid of large bodies of water, so seeing the highly realistic underwater CGI triggered panic and that developed into a fear of the whale that was associated with it. Apparently I have always been some what afraid of water and it has just
gotten worse and spawned new fears. I freak out if I even accidentally
scroll too far over on google earth and its over the ocean.
Funny Story, a few years ago, I was on the Pinnochio ride at Disneyland with my 2 year old niece and had a panic attack when I realized what was coming next. I also cried the first time I rode The new(ish) Nemo ride. I have always been terrified of that ride, even back when I was little and It was submarine voyage.
