so great to see someone else who is new/starting the process! my wife and i started investigating and figuring things out in january - about 4 months before our wedding. we both knew we wanted kids, we've been together for awhile and we wanted to be prepared for when we started. so lots of temping (which didn't work for me really), opks, tracking cycles, blood work, etc.
we had originally thought we would start RIGHT AWAY after getting hitched, but we took some time - though i guess not much ;)
we started with iui's - anonymous donor - in september and did our third iui this weekend.
it's a rollercoaster, but mostly it's been a good one...it is definitely bringing us even closer together and we truly can't wait to be moms!
even though i don't contribute a lot, this forum is great - and reading other blogs, books, etc...asking lots of questions, finding a place you are comfortable with and would be happy to work with you and your wife...and realizing that no matter what others might say/might work for them, you have to find your own way and figure out what works best for you and your wife.
