Bottles

I plan to EBF with no plans of pumping, as of right now. I have received a Playtex VentAire bottle gift set that has 2 9oz and 3 6oz and a 3 pack of 9oz Tommee Tippee bottles. I would like to have a few around just in case I need to use them. My question is, which do I keep? I know every baby is different on what bottles they like I just don't want to have that many bottles lying around if I don't need them.

As you mentioned, every baby is different so we really cannot tell you which ones to keep. My friend had a ton of different kinds and tried each one with her son. She wanted to use Tommee Tippee, he would only drink out of Avent. I was planning on EBF, but that lasted like three days after LO was born. The only bottles I bought and offered were Dr Brown glass bottles. She had no problem with them and took to them right away.

We used Avent with my first after trying MANY!!!! I pumped after a while for my 2nd and we tried Avent , Dr Brown and more. She finally would semi take Playtex with drop in liners. My last was exclusive to Haberman feeder until his tube placement.i mainly breast fed but my kids were very picky on bottles

Each kid will have a different opinion, so I would honestly return the packages and get one each of a few types to see what your LO likes. My older one could only use Dr. Browns because everything else gave her terrible gas. My younger one would only take first years breastflow bottles because they mimicked a breast best. I have no idea what #3 will take so I won't even buy any until we're home from the hospital (I EBF as well, but keep a freezer stash always in case of an emergency; when DD2 was 9 months old DD1 was hospitalized unexpectedly, so it was a good thing I had a stash).

This.  We use the Playtex drop-ins and love the simplicity of them.  I like the idea of Dr Browns and Tommee Tippee but honestly I would start with a simple bottle and step up if the first ones don't work out.  I'd return them and buy a single bottle instead of a set of a couple.

If you plan to BF, you *shouldn't* ever need the 9-oz bottles.  Your breastmilk will change as your LO gets older, so in theory they should never need to take larger quantities of BM.  Now, I've heard of some BF mamas giving 7-oz bottles, but IME and from what I've read, you shouldn't ever have to give a bottle bigger than 4 or 5 ounces.
