I have a big jewelery cabinet that my dad made for me, that I'm totally taking the opportunity to brag about ;)
It's basically a box behind a mirror on a stand. The mirror is the door, and it opens up to a number of sectioned shelves and pegs on the very top for necklaces.
It's so nice to have it all in one place, plus then have mirror to see how it looks without having to walk into the bathroom. Not to mention the memories involved in my dad, mom, and I working out the details of the design.
I know the Amish make them, that's where we got the idea.
