is it worth my time?

I want to be sure I choose a comfortable carrier for me. There's a local store that sells a sorts of carriers but with a 5 mo baby bump will anything really be comfortable?

It will be tough to tell exactly how they fit for things like buckle carriers - but I'd still take a look.  You can always go back once baby has arrived :)

I personally would read reviews and ask others for their opinions to narrow down your search. Then you can look at the short list of the carriers that you've come up with and purchase from there. I think that you should be fine choosing a carrier now! Plus, once your babe is born, you actually won't be much smaller than you are now.

I tried on carriers at 36 wks and I was at least able to narrow down which ones I for sure didn't want. Your baby might dictate something different though. My LO wanted to only be forward facing as soon as he was about 6 wks
