We are dealing well, so far DS isn't too bad. He has his days and moments but otherwise he is fine..

 

We are not potty training yet. I am going to work on him next week after the holidays.

I'm almost afraid to say it out loud in fear of jinxing myself, but 2 hasn't really been nearly as bad as I thought it would be.  We have little tempers every once in a while, but I can usually track it back to something like.....lack of sleep or not enough food.  Overall she's a great little girl and I can take her just about anywhere without it being an issue.

 We aren't potty training yet.  She's not ready.  She still cries at the mention of sitting on the potty seat so I'm not going to push it.  I'm thinking we'll probably train over the summer when I'm home on maternity leave.

I was thinking the same thing with DS for next summer when I am on Maturnity leave.  he has used the potty a few times :) On his own too which is great! But I haven't forced the issue with him at all. He is however starting to get a temper on him and hyper active...climbing and jumping off everythign possible!!!!! He even powdered his whole room over the weekend and got it all over him self.

DD has her moments with the terrible 2's...she had a rough weekend after a very busy week where her schedule and sleep was crazy. I described it to the babysitter as having "a short fuse"...she just seems fine and then the littlest thing will set her off!

We are not overly encouraging potty training right now because we will be traveling over Christmas. She will use the potty to poop more than pee. We get home on the 30th and I don't back to work until the 4th, so we may try some potty bootcamp those couple of days and see how it goes.

DS has his moments where the 2's are terrible!!! He's always been a sweet, easy going kid, so now that he is starting to really test some boundaries and voice his opinion I can really tell. It's nothing horrible, but just wears on me. After a few days with him not at daycare, I'm ready for him to get out of the house!! :)

And we have not started potty training yet. He sits on the potty for fun whenever he feels like it, but he's not ready to train yet.

The 2's are going ok and are generally a lot of fun, but he gets jealous of his sister and chooses moments when he knows that DH or am busy with the baby to do things he shouldn't like when we are feeding her, thats when he we go pull on the blinds

We are letting him lead the way on potty training but after the holidays we plan to get on it. He's ready but he has had so many changes as of late like a new sister and a new house that we really didn;t want to throw this at him too.

I am exhausted. DS is generally good, but then he has become ultra clingy and any slight thing will send him into a tantrum. I try hard not to give into it, but it has really been a challenge. I find myself trying to anticipate what will send him into a fit to avoid it. There is no rhyme or reason, so I just have to go with the fits when they happen. It is exhausting. As far as potty training. He does well at daycare, but when he gets home, all bets are off. He tells me after he has peed or pooped, and he hates to be dirty. I will really start trying after the first of the year if he seems ready.

the whole listening thing isn't working out so well.. he got over the pushing phase thankfully but is very active and always is running around and into other kids.

 Potty training is going well, he's out of diapers except for nap and bedtime.  He has accidents every couple of days but for the most part is doing great!
